you date them for however long, then you guys break up, date some one else, then break up with that person and months or how-ever long later.then for some reason you get back with one of your same ex's.

No - when it is over it is over!!! If you broke up there is a reason.
The person still may have the same qualities that initilly attracted you, but whatever is deeper is simply not compatible.

yes my ex I did that with and we finally just had to say enough was enough and with my current boyfriend we were actually engaged at one point and have now done the on and off thing (this being the last time) it's stupid I think that means that both aren't really ready for the type of relationship they are in!
