I ask because I have found an old, wonderful friend. Life is one wild ride, u know. I wish you all the best of luck.

I thought we had an exclusive relationship. I found a pizza box in his fridge. He wouldn't tell me immediately, but he finally told me that he had a female friend over the night before.

I got in his face and let him know how disappointed I was. Then I looked him straight in the eye and told him that I was a super lady who was looking for a super man....and apparently he wasn't the one. Then I told him that he'd be sorry for letting me get away while he checked out the other chicks. I walked out.

He was back three weeks later. Eighteen months later we were married.

That was the first time I ever stood up for myself in a relationship. I decided for the first time that I wasn't going to ever feel bad about a man's behavior.

Later he told me that he was impressed by my "super woman" speech because it made him think. (At the time, I thought it was a waste of time.)

What I will tell you is that I regretted him coming back. He called me and wanted to get back together. It was a bigger mistake the second time. I remembered why we broke up in the first place.
