Remember that most of your "extra" hunger is actually thirst, so try drinking three big glasses of water first. If that doesn't seem to work, then try some of these foods, which can be eaten in nearly unlimited quantities without really messing up the number of calories you're eating in a day:
*Onions
*Celery
*Green Beans
*Lettuce (garlic red wine vinegar can be used like dressing to make a virtually calorie-free salad)
*Raw Spinach
*Fruity, sugar-free sodas (if your sweet tooth is kicking in)
I'm assuming you were looking for the real "freebies" of foods, and these are things you really can't do much damage with.
Good luck....I hope these things help you through the next hunger pang in between your heatlhy meal plans.

best way to stay full and low cal is to go for foods with high fiber. But make sure you drink plenty of liquids too. The more fiber you get, the more liquids you need to process it.
You can pretty much guarantee that anything with high fiber is low in calories.

foods that are low in calories are just important as the glycemic index that they fall into. Generally foods that are whole grain are low on the glycemic index. the purpose for eating foods that are low on the glycemic scale is to keep your fuller longer. they curve your hunger much better than food that have a high glycemic rating such as white bread to whole wheat. oatmeal or cream of wheat. there is a glycemic search engine on the internet to reference each food. if your finding the high glycemic foods bland. use splenda or no calorie sweeteners to enhance flavor. salt too just not too much.

Watermelon. It's good, and just a little bit will have you pushing the plate away.
I sometimes eat a bit before I am about to eat a not-so-low-calorie meal so that way I don't eat as much.

Oatmeal and watermelon are both good ideas.
Vegetables in general are low in calories.
You can have huge salads with mixtures of various things: lettuce, cabbage, spinach, celery, radishes, carrots, fennel, cucumbers, onions, and top them with lots of creamy dressing made from non-fat plain yogurt with dried herbs. Add a tomato, snap peas, cooked beans, things like that in moderation, since fruits (tomato) and legumes (peas, beans) are higher in calories.

What i always did was get those trail mix bars with the nuts and berries in them and eat one of those between breakfast and lunch because they fill you up more and when lunch comes you arent as hungry and then a banana or oatmeal cookie from quaker between lunch and dinner.. the oatmeal cookie was my sort of healthy way of getting my sweets.. and i always made sure at every dinner i had chicken or fish in my meal. and the same size portion as my kids or 1/4 of my husbands. and tons !! OF WATER! Well good luck

Start lunch and dinner with soup, it will fill you up and it takes a long time to eat, so you know when you're no longer hungry. Eat three servings of vegetables a day. Learn more at www.weightwatchers.com.

baked fish, baked skinless chicken, veggies, fruits, but be careful with fruits.. sometimes if u load up on them, the calories can be just as damaging as some fatty foods. drink lots of water, eat small meals during the day... like 6 of them. and you should also add some form of exercise as well.
