A package of sausage I bought says, "Best with buttered noodles"
and says, "Recipe on Back". Turn it over, and there's nothing on
the package--no recipe. Please help.

It's just boiling noodles of choice and tossing with melted butter. Personally, I add some minced garlic to the butter while it's melting. Nothing like a little extra flavor!

You can Pan fry or grill your sausages and slice them up and toss in with the following recipe. You can leave out the parsley if your not a fan of it.:

12 ounces wide egg noodles
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces and chilled
3 tablespoons minced flat-leaf parsley leaves
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more as needed
Freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon grated lemon zest (optional)

Bring a large pot of water to the boil and salt generously. Add the noodles and cook until they are tender but not mushy.
Meanwhile, ladle 1/4 cup of the noodle cooking water into a medium skillet. Set the skillet over low heat and, while whisking constantly, gradually add the butter, piece by piece, (let each piece of butter melt into the sauce before adding the next bit) until a smooth sauce has formed. Stir in the parsley and salt and pepper to taste. Add the lemon zest if desired.

Drain the noodles in a colander set in the sink and leave whatever water clings to them, do not rinse. Transfer the noodles to a large bowl, add the sauce, and toss well with the sauce. Serve.

Boil some of those flat wavy egg noodles, or noodle of your choice, in adequately salted water til al dente (If you salt the water well there will be not need for salting afterwards)... drain, toss with a good quality butter, and there you go! Sometimes you might want to garnish with some fresh chopped herbs such as parsley or maybe basil, or maybe a small shaving of parmesan cheese. For buttered noodles, keep things simple.

CHEESY NOODLES WITH BUTTER AND GARLIC

Curly noodles, dry
Water
Butter
Garlic
Grated Parmesean cheese (or you can use any other grated cheese)

Boil the noodles until they bubble. Then you put the butter and garlic on. Then you shred the cheese and sprinkle it on. Then you eat it! I like it best with the noodles that are all twisted up.
