By definition a 'trinity' cannot be composed of 4 elements, thus there is no explanation to your question.

I don't know how we'd explain it....we have a hard enough explaining the 3 as it is. I personally think to say, 3/trinity is limiting God though!
But, I guess we don't have to worry about it since it IS Trinity. (if you believe in it)

Since God created the universe, the universe itself expresses the triunity of God. The universe is space, matter and time. Three separate quantities but yet one universe. Space is x, y and z - three separate quantities yet one Space. Matter is energy, motion, phenomena. Time is past, present and future. Man is nature, person, and personality. Nature itself testifies that there is a God.

A trinity cannot be four, it's only three. "Tri" means three, nothing more. That's like saying perfect circle with 90 degree angles, it's impossible.
There is not triune God, only ONE. Only GOD. He is not "father/son/phantom" no no no. He is GOD. He is ONE.

it would make no sense for the christians to worship a quad god.
the Pagans that they got their beliefs from worshiped triune gods.
but if i had to explain a quad god i would do so as a lind of ascending points.
and use refrences such as
body, spirit, earth, moon, to show 4 aspects that are tightly woven together but spiritualy spearate. things that need each other to exist.

It might be the Holy Quadriad, which translates roughly to "a group of four," I think.
