My friend went to an all girls Catholic school. In sixth grade, all the girls went to the Mother Superior's office and were told to take off their shirts so that the Mother Superior could judge whether they needed to wear a bra or not.

VERY VERY creepy.
My father went to a city high school in brooklyn. He told me that they weren't allowed to wear swim trunks during swimming class....they were told something about fibers clogging the filters.
The girls were able to.
Another thing I just remembered.....
I had a very effeminate history teacher during high school. He was the target of several jokes...but he was also married.
During class...he often touched people in a way that I felt was overly familar.
I had one friend who was asked by him to pose in some "exotic" outfits. He claimed that he was taking a photography course, and that he needed a model.
4 years later I met someone else from the school who had attended 10 years before us...and had been asked the same thing.
I reported it to the school.
He still teaches there.
He wondered later in life what that was actually about.

There is a movie called "The Magdalene Sisters" about a Irish girls who get sent to be nuns for doing bad things check it out. They do what you said in the movie and much more. The church hates this movie but its very accurate about what went on.
Yes creepy, I would have a rather unpleasant(for her) talk with the sister if that was my kid. Then again i wouldn't send my kid to a school like that in the first place. any way LAWSUiTe!!! hell yeah.

Sounds like the Mother Superior had a "thing" for adolescent girls. This woman should be reported immediately!

That is not only creepy, it's highly illegal. She could seriously sue for a good bit of money if she wanted too.
