hey ok...so i have gotten to know this guy and i think he is falling for me but i just like him as a friend nothing more. i have a fair idea he likes me with the texts i get but i want to let him down gently any ideas how?

Unless this guys expresses that he has inner deep feelings for you other then a friendship don't do anything. I mean did he actually tell you this? Why would you LET HIM DOWN GENTLY when he hasn't even expressed his feelings? you might be jumping the gun here. You need to go on with your SOCIAL life as usual dating or doing what ever it is you do and let him see that he is just a Friend.
