hi i have had a disectomy 2 weeks ago and feel worse now than before op is that right , i have more pain in my leg and back now

Talk to your doctor right away. My husband had that surgery and it was quite a while ago, but I do remember he didn't start feeling better for a few weeks because of the inflammation in the area. I don't think that he felt worse so you should really talk to the doctor because maybe your circumstances are different.

Muscles can have knots (trigger points) that make them tight which in turn put pressure on nerves and other things causing pain.
Molasses - a couple of swigs or Bananas 1 or 2 - both contain magnesium and potassium for muscles.
Try working with the principles taught in The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
I use a chiropractor and massage therapist with it
