I exercise self-control, ha, ha, :) I know that's not funny.
Seriously, any exercise that makes you sweat will work on the fat that's in your tummy. You don't have to just target that area to lose weight. I heard a recent fad was to do hula hooping. This is excellent for belly fat or so they say. I tried it and couldn't get the hang of it!

Are you male or female? And how did you get such a big belly? These are important factors.

Generally speaking, stop drinking all alcohol and soda - even diet soda! Get 30 minutes of cardio every day and cut back on carbs.

Ab exercises should not involve sit-ups. Look for videos online or get the 8-minute abs workout video and do it at home. The moves are easy on the neck and back and very effective on the middle. Of course, you need to do cardio to get rid of the fat first, but then the definition should start to show.

Raise your metabolism by eating several small meals a day rather than a few large meals. And keep moving. Put an exercise bike in front of the TV. go up and down the stairs an extra time every time you use them. As long as you are moving you are burning calories.

besides sit-ups really the best way to tone yourself is running. If you don't like running to a lot of cardio to slim down. fast workouts with little breaks is the best way. Also it helps to work out in the morning b/c you burn off all the extra calories from last night. Then go eat breakfast.

Make sure you have a good breakfast that is the most important meal of the day. I lost my weight running up and down the stairs while holding my stomach in. There is also a slendertone belt you can buy ( it contracts your stomach muscles) you can wear it while watching the TV.

First of all, sit ups or crunches won't get rid of ab flab. You can only get rid of fat like that through cardio. I recommend some workouts you can play on your DVD player, like the Firm or Tae Bo. YOu can check them out from your library. Good luck!

I love Pilates, and if you have or can get a TotalGym, you will be on your way. Yoga is good too.
