There is so much destruction, hate, crime, drugs, and sex going on in this world. Is this what is supposed to happen? When is it going to end? Why can't people just get along? Everyone has to be so difficult. I think the whole world needs to go Amish. I don't know, but somethings got to give. I hate thinking about what life is gonna be like when my kids are my age. And before you all ask, yes I am depressed!

Life – it has a meaning and loving purpose - you just have to find your purpose and live it.
I believe every person is here for a definite purpose. Each person is special and valuable; that refers to me, you, your family, friends, in fact everybody! There is a loving plan for each of our lives here on earth and there is no such thing as coincidence. I don't believe that anything in life happens by chance and that every aspect of our lives points to something deeper.
You need to decide now to live for God rather than for yourself. You spend your life on Earth preparing yourself (as best you can) for death. I don't see death as a scary, negative experience, but birth into a bliss filled eternal life with God. I believe that this is something you have to consciously choose or not during your life on earth.
The meaning of life is for us to discover that we are true children of an infinitely loving God, to find out what our responsibilities are to our Creator, and to fulfill those responsibilities. Each of us is called to affirm, accept and develop the talents God has given us. -

The meaning of life is to find peace inside yourself, and then share it with the world.
There is always going to be hate and war going on. Its how things balance out. You can't have love without hate, you can't have forgiveness without fights and you sure as hell can't have peace if there are never any wars.
Sure, there are bad things about life, but what about the GOOD things? Like your family, friends, the people you love. The people who give you everything they have, only asking that you be willing to do the same in return?
If you go through life only looking at the bad things, you'll miss out on all the good.

You must be happy with whatever you have,Do not go amish and do not be depressed.You should try hard to make better your fate but do not be desperate.You must be optimisytic that one time it will be changed.In every difficulty there is always an easy way as God has spoken in the holy Qur'an in the surah 94 Alam Nasy-
rah.We live in this uneternal world only in a short time .Our life is only like a play.We should make a preparation for the eternal life after death.We should practice what should be done in line with God's instructions in the holy book and we should aviod some-
thing that is not allowed to be done by God.Destruction,hate,crime,drugs,lying,cheating,offending,gambling,killing,stealing,lying and free sex are prohiboited by God
We should give a right guide/religion and education to our kids in order to be a good future next generation.We should dedicate our lives to our God.We should love and help each other.and live peacefully in full of tolerance to other people.with other religion.May God bless us all.

All right. I guess this question has to be asked. We are here by an incredibly slim margin of error in the cosmic shape of things. We are so lucky to be on this planet alive right now, that you would have to win the lottery 50 times in a row to meet the odds. Your meaning of life will not be someone elses meaning of life. Embrace your passions and creativity to make your life the best possible if for no other reason than "why not?".

Not Amish please they share wife's and have sex with young kids and think it is okay...
Life is hard but it also has to do with the way you look at life, try to look at the goodness that the world has and focus only on that then your life will be good and you will have tons of love to share with those that have no choice.

The meaning of life is to understand it , when you understand it then you have no sorrow's anymore .
The way to understand life is to devolep your " mindfulness "
To devolep your " mindfulness " is take a part of your daily life ( like walking , eating ) and slow it down , do it very , very slowly , step by step , follow every move you do . If you keep doing this sooner or later the meaning of life will show to you

Whatever meaning you give it...it has to come from inside you. In the end their is no universal meaning other than keeping your genes alive...thats it. So make the most of the one you have don't sit around depressed, give it meaning.

For me, the meaning and purpose of life is to go back, from where we came from. We came from the Source of Life ( God the Father ) He put us here in temporary state until we decided ( by freewill ) to return to Him.
But returning to the Source is not as easy, as the way we look at it. It requires obedience and faith to follow the rules and instruction given via Bible. Humans has to undergone a process in order to achieve the purpose. Which we view as SUFFERING and self-denial.
Through experience of the process required, bit by bit, one by one, we will able to understand more, the Source our Father, why He created us and How much He love us to return to Him
The world is in chaos because it doesn't want rules in fact, hate it. History tell us, civilization rise and fall, because they didn't follow the rules. But the Bible also tell us, the God is always there to take care of those who trust in Him and He is in control of everything. He allows the world to choose its path which bring pain and suffering, so it can learn. But unfortunately it doesn't.
Love God will all your heart, soul and mind, and He will bring you peace and happiness.
Do not love the physical world as well your physical body for it will came to pass, it will end. But returning to the Source will give us eternal life.

People who don't seek or know God are always going to tend toward doing evil to others.
All you can do is find the power that only God can give to prevent yourself from being like them......and finding how powerful God is in protecting those who become His children.

There is no meaning at all. We are animals with big brains, that's it.
If 5,000 buffalo die in a migration, what does it "mean"? Nothing. Same for humans. Our lives mean nothing on a cosmic scale. Within about 1,000 years, all humans will be dead and everything anyone did, every rule we followed, every building we made, and law of nature we discovered will mean absolutely nothing.
