serious answers please. i decided i wanted to change my personal appearance. i think i will start wearing make up since i got a bunch for christmas. i dont usually wear it. i think i also might try to starghten my hair more often (its naturally straight but sometimes can b better). iwant to start looking my best. how should i look. what do 13-15 year old boys look for anyways?

Well actually, i don't think you should change your physical appearance just for a guy. It also depends on what guys you are looking for. As you know, there are a lot of guys out there that only care about the looks of a girl. If you really want to find a good person, don't change your looks. Just be yourself, and sooner or later, a guy will take notice of you. If you are seriously desperate, then do as you like, but I don't think that's the best way to do things. After all, wouldn't you rather have someone who likes you for who you are, then the physical appearances? What if the guy finds someone else who he thinks is more attractive? then you'll be crushed. I think you should just stick with how you look now. Keep in mind that there's no such thing as an unattractive person.

Girl, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. While boys do appreciate you looking nice, don't go changing your looks or who you are for some boy. Do it for yourself. Guys like a girl who looks nice, but can feel comfortable in almost any outfit or make up (even if that means no make up!). Just do the regular things- take good care of your hair, mouth (fresh breath), and face. Smell good. Don't worry too much though. The right guy will find more than just your looks appealing. He'll find you as a whole person, personality, intelligence, looks, EVERYTHING attractive. So don't rush it. Just take your time. You're a girl. You don't have to chase after them. You shouldn't change your appearance to attract guys. If you do want to change your appearance do it for yourself. When I was 13-15, I avoided guys as much as possible. I knew that they were only after the chance to get a little action. The few times I was around guys at that age, I was usually violated, sexually harassed, and a few times almost raped. Majority of the guys at that age could careless who you are, and basically what you look like, they want one thing and one thing only. Most times they'll do what ever it takes to get it, maybe that's just how it was where I grew up. I never changed what I looked like to attract guys, If they thought I was worth pursuing without the make-up, tight & revealing clothes, then great! Kudos to them.
If you want to improve your apperance, do it for yourself no one else.

dont straighten your hair over time it will damage it and make it unhealthy, healthy hair is more important then trends, because once ur hair is dry and brittle with no shine to it its hard to make it back healthy and you'll have to cut a lot of it too, as far as make up gloss eyeliner shadow and clear mascara should be enough, but boys no matter how old or young they are have no idea what they want, they go with what tv and their friends says is "cool" so just try to be yourself and, take good care of your skin and hair so that its healthy, oh wait, guys do like skin, so dont be totally hootchiefied but spaghetti straps,lowrise jeans, open toe shoes should be enough with over doing it

We look for hot and cool. One thing we don't like is make up. Whatever you got for xmas, throw it out. Nothing messes up a girls face (in a guys opinion) as much as make up. I know you asked us guys what we like but you're probably gonna ask your girlfriends and wear the make up anyway. Why do you all bother to ask us what we want and then do the opposite? That's why guys aren't true to girls, cause you're not true to yourselves or to guys.

every guy's different but think of usually the same things. guys have different tastes and likings for a girl; it just varies. be yourself, but don't over do trying to look super pretty and just end up like a scary halloween mask in the end. it worked for me.

well, it depends on the guy, but i think they look for well managed appearance. that means...nice/clean hair, nice body-but NOT anorexic, pretty face, but not a lot of make up...so dont put too much on =] but most mportantl-a fun/comfident attitude!! i hope that helped.. good luck! =]

13-15 year old boy's like girls who does not wear make up and if you straighten your hair too much your hairs fall off.

Some makeup would be cool, and so would dressing more feminine. Wear skirts more often. Be a girl!

one big thing is be easy to approach and easy to talk to. thats key because if its hard for a guy to talk to you, he'll never do it. also personally, i hate when girls wear make up. i rather see their natural face, like when they first get up. just be easy to talk to and be yourself.
