If there really is a God who created the entire universe with all of its glories, and He decides to deliver a message to humanity, He will not use, as His messenger, a person on cable TV with a bad hairstyle.

I couldn't agree with you more. Paul and Jan Crouch are false prophets, as are about 75% of all the people who appear on their network. However they are very good profits if you know what I mean.
I could give you example after example of how these people have twisted the word of God, taken it out of context, and out right lied to people.
They are frauds, and they will have to give an account for their words and deeds some day.

I don't believe that everyone who says that they are His messengers are in fact His messengers. With that being said I must also say that I feel that if there is really a God who created the entire universe with all of its glories, and he decides to deliver a message to humanity, he has the right to choose any one he sees fit. And BTW I do believe there is really a God.
