Mine was an oral surgery where the surgeon didn't put enough novacaine and I did not have the luxury of painkillers for about 2 hours following the surgery. Was horrible.

My most painful experiences, or should I say should have been my most painful experiences were shut out by y system thank goodness. First one I had both arms, one elbow broke, or fractured. I went into shock. My parents would not get off work to take me to the doctors for I was not crying so they thought it was no big deal. I had to wait until that night before they got off work to take me to the doctor. This was at school in PE, before lunch time. I waited in the nurses room holding up my one wrist for it was broke clean through. My sister took me home after school and I waited at home for my parents.
Second I got my head cracked open and had to have it stapled up, in the mean time I had a seizure and do not remember much. Well they say I have some kind of cuncussion....movie reruns are great, I never remember seeing it the first time :0)

I cut my finger to the bone did not feel it. I split open my calve did not feel it.

The most painful I do remember is getting my collar bone broke and my team mates kept grabbing my shoulders thinking I was mad I lost was the only reason I was in a bad mood. I was sitting on the ground with my head lowered. They kept coming up grabbing my broken collar bone or patting it saying "it is ok".... I had to show my mother the broken bone before she would take me to the doctor....

My migrain headaches are nothing to grin about....

I am not a good sick person. I do not tell everyone I am hurting, I am going through tests now to see why I do not feel certain things.

I had something happen like you, the guy had to break open something in my throat with no pain killer. I could not eat or swallow and it hurt real bad. (I lost a lot of weight for it was weeks before I said anything) I hit the doctor as soon as he touched the spot.....just a reaction. I trust know one around my face....and it hurt so bad!

The scariest time I had is when I was in heavy labor with my first son and the emergency room people said I was not crying so I must not be having the baby. The doctor was not there for very long when I had my baby.
We thought I was going to have the baby in the hall way in the wheel chair going up to the room....

Though the mouth hurts so much more! I feel for you! I hate doctors around my face....I have chronic pain for years (over 20 years). I still think the head is the worst pain!!

withdrawal from painkillers. The most horrible awful thing EVER!! and the bad part of it is , you cant take one to stop the pain. I will NEVER..Touch another painkiller "vicodin" or the rest of them again for as long as i live. i will endure the pain of anything because it can be no worse then coming off of addiction to opiates. It's be a year and 6 months now and i STILL get muscle twitches from it. they are no where close to what they were. they don't even hurt. but gezz, it takes forever.

Childbirth without painkillers would have to be the worst pain I have been through. However, I've sprained my ankle bad before and I'm such a big baby when it comes to my ankles. I can't seem to tolerate that pain too well even though you'd think that compared to childbirth it wouldn't be so bad.

COMPLICATED childbirth.

My son, who should have been born by caesarean, came out past a cyst which was discovered in my "private area" when I was already in labour. Considering I'm small and my son wasn't, and the cyst was the size of a golf ball, IT HURT!

I was half-dead from blood loss and I came out with 5 lots of stitches for an episiotomy (cut), a few normal childbirth tears, another tear the nurse made when she slipped with the catheter, and the cyst (which they cut out during labour, my son then came out past it, and it got so infected I couldn't sit or stand for three weeks).

The cyst was by far the worst, and it lasted for three weeks; the bruising lasted for 6 months. The whole process was stuffed up from beginning to end and nearly killed me.

Shattered my kneecap on from falling a story onto a metal bar. Then I had to limp inside the house for help.

Appendicitis was the worst pain I've experienced so far. I'd take a broken bone over appendicitis any day.
