I don't have a puppy either because my mom and dad don't like them but my sister does and she brings it over to my house all the time and it's fun having one around but there are a lot of responsibilities like cleaning up after them and if you set them down for a few seconds the go and try to find something to chew on so it will be okay trust me would you rather clean up after a dog all day or watching TV or playing games or other fun stuff i say FUN STUFF!! because i hate cleaning!!

Absolutely!!!! There is nothing like having a puppy and watching him/her grow. They are certainly a lot of work but if you give them the time and attention they need you will enjoy the rewards. A well trained puppy will grow to be your faithful and long time friend. He/she will also be great therapy for you even if you don't need it. I know my puppy has brought so much joy to my life. Maybe your Mom had a bad experience with a dog as a child or maybe she is allergic to them. Find out why she hates them and talk to her about it. Dogs are a huge responsibility and maybe she thinks right now is not a good time for one. Maybe she will change her mind in the future.
Good Luck.

Yes and No, right now I have 3, 4 week old puppies. And they are fun don't get me wrong, but they are ALOT of work, they poop and pee every where, they chew everything, they aren't trained in anyway.
I rather get a dog that is already 1, it's easier to train a 1 year old dog then a 8 week old puppy, for me anyways.
Puppies have their ups and downs, but before bringing a dog into the family, every one should agree with it.

Puppies are great fun! And a lot of work as well. If you can take care of the pup and train it to be a good dog. That might help your mom in changing her mind. Try to talk to mom and tell her that you would take care of it and just maybe she will change her mind. I hope this helps!

Alot of work before there is a good time. Puppies love to chew, pee, poo, ruin stuff, cry, bark, whine, yelp, bite etc...
I adopted my 6 month old from the Humane Society and she was given up because she was destructive. I adopted her anyways and she ruined a ton of stuff from shoes, hat, baseball caps, toys, couches, chairs, pillows, blankets and more.
It takes a lot of patience and solid training to get a puppy to behave in a decent(not perfect) manner.
The love you get in return is immeasurable and I would have traded all the stuff she ruined plus more to keep her in my life. She still has her bad days, but it was worth everything she got a hold of. ;o)

it is fun, and costs some money and takes the ability to care fgot the dog ' they have to go out and be walked and played with and fed ; and keep a water supply where they can get it.
they need to chew and have to be trained what they can chew on and what is off limits.
They need to be loved and comforted and kept warm and not left alone too long.
They are great. I really love my dog. If your Mom does not like them you may have to wait until you can have a home of your own.

nicely all people has a canine breed that's appropriate for them. i'd advise taking a canine breed quiz the only from canine breed data. My canines are very hardly interior as my father and mom does not like canines so there all exterior canines yet do greater valuable then interior canines reason they might run every time they prefer and while they prefer. look after canines are additionally super canines, yet while your finding for a purebred canine that's appropriate to make certain the two the canine's father and mom and look into if the value you're paying for that's sturdy. bypass to a petshop, purchase water bowl, nutrition bowl, grooming combs, toys for the pup to bite on. A collar and a leash. i'd advise going to a canine training type while that is older. believe me which will help you lots the two you and your canine will comprehend one yet another greater valuable.
