we stopped talking
he returned home from duty and called me to see if i still wanted to meet him, 7 months later
we had the most comfortable weekend either of us had ever experienced
he left for texas saying "lets keep in touch"
we had a fight over me being a drama queen
we talked about our fight hearing each others side
we talk when i call him (he never calls me, says its cheaper for me)
he has me as the first girl (number 5 after 4 boys) on his myspace that has him in a relationship since moving me to # 5
he just posted a new picture (which he hasnt done since december) i took of him in my apartment

so..... what does all this mean? does he like me or am i crasping at straws because i like him so much?

Sounds like he might be thinking about you. So duty must mean he is in the military, I'm sure lots of emotions go along with that. Just be his girl in this tough world, if you have a connection then keep it don't destroy it. I'm a drama rama so I can't help you there, but I've learned to control myself....

You can't be serious or must be quite desperate to be the "subsitute girlfriend" with a man who is not even in the same state!!. It's obvious that he doesn't want a relationship with you. Don't take it personally, a lot of men are like that. Quit being so clingy , and call himor email him telling him you don't want to ever talk to him again because you are too good for him. Or because you have been denying other men near you for him and you don't see the point anymore.
It will make you feel better if you are the one to officially end it!

Well things didn't sound too bad until you mentioned "substitute girlfriend"... what the heck is that supposed to mean?!?! A substitute teacher only replaces the "real" teacher for a short amount of time. So you are only considered temporary??? Drop this guy and move on!!! You deserve to be more than a substitute!!!!!!

Drop him like a sack of quarters. Why are you spending time dealing with doofuses on myspace anyway? He MIGHT be a "nice guy" yeah, sure. But girl, I'm also pretty sure you've got better things to do with your time. Trust me. For all you know, he's probably married.

Why would you like someone who refers to you as his "subsitute girlfriend?" Thats like saying your his "backup" girlfriend. And him not calling you cuz it's cheaper for you to call him is an excuse. If he really wanted to call he would call. I would move on, this guy will just break your heart. Good Luck

By him calling you a subsitute girlfriend, he likes you and doesn't like you. If he breaks up with a gf you'll be his second choice temporarily.

"sustitute girlfriend"? what the hell is that? got what he wanted, then left. how's that sound to you? even if it costs more (or so he says) for him to call you, he should have done so. he's probably married.

get away from the user.
