my mom wants me to put my 8 1/2 month old in pictures, like the wal*mart catalog and Jc Pennys. I'm not sure if it would be a good idea, but my daughter does take some awsome pictures and loves the camera and LoveS to pose. how can I get her into it??

my 17month old does pumpkin patch and j.k catalogues (in new zealand) and some t.v extra work.. he loves it because everyone fusses over him etc.. and he's a real lil poser.. and it's really good because most shoots you go to understand that theyr working with babies not adults. try searching the net or phone book and go in and see them to find the best for you. our agency you had to give them a few photos first and they went through a selection process and came back to you to tell you if they'd represent them or not before you even had to pay anything which was great and really got my trust!

My cousins gf used to work at the Penneys at the mall and she used my daughter in a few of the catalogs.... NICE BONUS I got free pics of the poses hehe :) Im not sure how to get ur daughter in it professionally but it hasnt' affected my daughter at all. She sees the pictures and it's like any other picture she has ever had done.

That is only a personal question you can ponder upon yourself. would call 1-800-WAL-MART. Start asking questions from there. If you have a little cutie-patootie...by all means I would show her off too!

Contacting those companies directly is the best way.
Talk to them and get an address to where you can send a head or full-body shot.

i belive that you should do what your gut tells you. If you don't think it's right to do then don't do it. alot of children love the camara but modeling can be VERY VERY stressful for a child. if you have doubts don't do it. if you feel that it is ok then do it. you know your child better then anyone else even your mother. do not be afraid to tell your mother that you do not belive it is not right for your child. only you can decide that.
