I met a guy at a bar and we got attracted to each other. We went on a date and we kept messaging each other. Even after the date, he sent me a text message saying that he had fun and he wants to meet up with me in the weekend on sunday. I text messaged him a day ago, saying that I will have my rehearsal between 4 and 7. Other than that we can meet up any time. No answer. In the break, I called him and left a voice mail if we are still on. No answer until 10ish pm. Then he text messages me saying that "endedn up going to NYC with my roommate, call when I come back." What is this? Did I get stood up? If he calls me what can I tell him. I like him but my sunday totally got blown off. Please some advice.

maybe he was mad cause you stood him up, so just wait for him to call, im sure he will call u again

Well it could be a few things but I have one that fits. The fact that he texts you instead of calling seems strange. Text messages cost more don't they? It sounds like he has a girlfriend. The reason I say this is guys can easily text a girl without their girlfriend finding out. They can do it in a bathroom or anytime their girlfriend isn't in the room. It's not as easy to have a conversation. I would think if he was going to NYC he would call you to let you know. He probably couldn't find the time or place to do this without his girl finding out. I mean if you called him and he didn't answer what was the reason? They get phone service in NYC. Then he doesn't call you back and explain he text messaged you. That seems odd to me. I would think he'd want to explain and let you know he felt badly for not showing up? I think he has a girlfriend and he's playing games with you. I say if you know where he lives go visit him. If you don't know where he lives and his home phone number. He definitely has a girlfriend or wife. You should always be very wonder when a man gives you his cell number and not his home number. You should always worry when a guy text messages you more than he calls. You should always question when you call a guy and he almost never answers but calls you back a few minutes later. Or it always seems like he's calling you from outside or some place very very quiet. Like a bathroom or basement. Or if he only calls you from his job or friend's house. Computers and cell phones make it very easy for men to cheat. Don't make it any easier for him. Just do a little research on this guy. Make sure he's not playin' you.

Basically, he blew you off. If he called prior to leaving and said he couldn't make it and wanted to reschedule that would be a different story. He texted after the fact.
It is too early for stupid stuff like that to be happening. I wouldn't waste my time with this dude.
Yea, it is a bad sign.
If he calls you fine. I would just go on with my life and not worry about it. I don't really think you have to say anything. Just go with the flow towards friendship.

Just talk to him like you would any ol friend. If he's really into you, he'll let you know. It's not gonna happen in a day much less a week, but he'll let you know when everything to him is just right. Good luck.

You better confront it or pay later..If you don't speak up ,he'll think you're a pushover..Tell him that when you make plans with someone,you expect them to keep their end of the bargain or it makes you not want to talk to them for a while.Then don't talk to him for awhile.

play hard to get .don;t answer when he calls and don't be available for him next time.sometimes when you become to available men think you are going to get clingy ,let him know you still have a life and hes .lucky to have a place in it
