Traffic problem is the most common problem faced not only by India but also by other countries. The main cause of traffic is potholed roads, narrow roads, too many cars and population. The only thing that we can do is to cooperate with the Government. We should always follow the parking norms, traffic rules and in cities ,signals. There is a very bad tendency of Indians not to follow the signals. We should understand that signals are for our safety only.

The only problem with increasing traffic is, Any one can go and give some token money to the dealers and rest will be paid in the form of installments whether he has any more vehicles in his home or not.
First of all traffice dept. should ensure that the person who is willing to have a car, does he have or how many vehicles he alredy have?
We have so many people who have the no. of the cars then the members in their family.
That is the main problem with our govt. system.
If this does not stop yoday , Ultimately we all have to suffer.

As you all might already know the government is providing more funding for public transit users, so a better way to cut down on traffic is if for a lot of us take the transit instead of driving or car pooling whenever possible.
