I bought a do-it-yourself credit repair kit, from the company below

Its a scam.
My mother consolidated with one of those companies, and it wasnt like they said it would be.
Froze her account, and she couldnt get credit for some time.

You can actually call the card company yourself and negotiate down the interest rate yourself.
I did this a while back for myself.

Theres a certain department within the card number. Darn its been a while. But I did drop the interest rate about 6 points.

Just be careful is all Im saying.
If it comes to me exactly which dept I contacted I will email you.
Or you could call that company youre thinking about using and ask them what they will do, as if youre interested in their services, then you call yourself, and negotiate down the interest rate.

Yes I have but I didn't stick with it long enough to repair my credit in which case it didn't help. The best thing to do is order your credit report look at the companies that you owe and start with the lowest to the highest and pay your debts off.

I used CCCS and I wish I had purchased a Do it Yourself kit earlier. I would have saved money...
