I tried to add the new tab icon in Firefox but whenever I reopen the browser again, it was gone. What happen? Is there any option of preferences that I should change? Thank you.

Yes, jayd56789, that's what I did, do you have a solution?

LCgirl, I will try that at home, because that's where the problematic Firefox is. thanks.

Go to View - Toolbars - Customize, then drag the 'New tab' icon and drop it at the toolbar. If you restart Firefox and the icon is gone, here's what you should do:

First, exit all open Firefox windows. Next, open Firefox in safe mode, and choose “Reset toolbars and controls” from that window. Then click “Make changes and Restart”, and you’re done.

Hope this helps.

"tried to add"

right-click navigation bar (where the icon will go), click 'customise' and drag and drop the icon to the menu..

Is this what you did?
