You are removing the bones from the meat. And it sounds nicer.

If you're in a bad accident and all the flesh comes off, it's called "degloving". I'm just saying.

Well, I've never heard demeating. Deboning is just carving the bones out so you can get to say, the chicken breast. To me, demeating is just taking off some meat to use and throw away the bones.

Potato, Potaaato If you plan to use the meat without the bones it is called deboning. I can't imagine why one would plan to use the bones without the meat.

But you don't eat the bones. You can and should save them to make stock, but you don't eat them.
