Right now my hair is just below my shoulder and slightly layered and I am extremely bored with it. I want to keep it on the longer side...any ideas would be extremely helpful!

How about bangs that are long and "swooped" over to the side! Make a deep part in your hair and secure your bangs by tucking them behind your ear, or with a bobby pin or a cute barrette?
Or you could try a different color, or if you want a subtle change do some highlights (professionally) that are just 2 shades lighter than your natural color. Good luck!

Cut it to the nape of the neck in the back and then have it graduate longer to the sides. This will give you a modern look and easy upkeep

OMG..I'm just like you but i'm a real Brunette. Just straighten it, and the layers will make it curl forward automatically, and before you curl it, split it to the side...So it's like that. And then put a headband behing your bangs.

I just barely asked almost the same question, good luck with your answer. Sorry, I don't know.
