I have been dealing with this guy for quite some time. We had always been friends, but recently it has evolved into something more. We talk on the phone everyday, we hang out often (sometimes I even sneak and stay the night with him in his dorm room), and I recently lost my virginity to him.
IMO, things are pretty serious between us, yet we still don't have an official title. Even our friends wonder what's the deal with us. I know I want to be with him, but I'm afraid he's not ready to commit.
The other day he called said he wanted to talk to me about something face-to-face. After we hung up he sent me a message saying he was nervous, but he was confident that everything was going to be ok no matter what my reaction was. Like any normal person, I had been thinking about this all weekend. We planned on meeting up earlier today to have our "talk," but he replied to my text mess.: "Not tonight. I gtg catch up on some work."
So now here I am wondering what to do...should I pursue a commitment or should we just remain friends?

I want to think that he wants to talk about our relationship and ask me to be his girlfriend.

On the other hand I'm worried. I've been hurt in the past and even though he said he would never hurt me, I'm still scared. I've already given him an important part of me and I'm afraid that I'm already starting to get attached because I think about him 24/7. When he doesn't call or respond to my messages right away I get really annoyed.

Gah, I hate these female emotions. Part of me doesn't want to feel this way.

I think he is scared of this commitment. Either one of two things is going on, and it is kind of hard to tell the difference here.

1. He just wants to be your friend but feels awkward talking to you about this after everything that has happened.

2. He wants a serious relationship and is nervous you may not want the same thing.

If you want this commitment, pursue it, and see what his reaction is. I am not sure if it will be possible for you two to "just remain friends" after all that has occurred. If you pursue it, and he wants the same thing, all is good. If you pursue it, and he does not want the same thing, you will be in exactly the same situation as you would if you didn't pursue it.

I can understand a whats going on in you, i will say just dont feel dejected of what you have done its all destiny but you must learn from the past, today when you need him he is not there to help you out do you think you can commit your life? Just go free for a week or so no phone calls no sms, but if you still think that you require him just dont let him go any ways.

specific adult adult males are. I shared a house with approximately 4 adult adult males and that i've got 3 brothers and a Son. they are continually entering into arguments over stupid stuff, . they have a point of aggression and EGO that's in all threat testosterone proper and on the comparable time can behave incredibly deceptively and insecurely. Throw all theses ingrediants mutually and WHAM!
