Just wondering if there are any hair treatments that would help my hair. It is very thin, fine, and does not hold any style. I also have very little luck with my hair growing. I always end up with split-ends and frizz. Need some inexpensive advise.

my hair was like that i attacked the problem from some different angles and now its great, i still got the split it ends thing tho
this is what i do
1. take a multi-vitamin with biotin
2. use a shampoo and conditioner and scalp oil that increases blood flow to the scalp ingredients to look for are rosemary, nettle, mint, arnica, to name a few
3.massage ur scalp and keep it very clean, shampoo ur scalp even if u dont shampoo ur hair, just part it down the middle lather the shampoo in and rinse

i think having the vitamins in your system and increasing the blood flow to your scalp is key, i read something recently about gelatin so i been eating a cup of jello a day just to see if it helps with shine or split ends but as of yet i havent noticed anything

i'm in an identical boat precisely. one ingredient that facilitates somewhat is dying your hair with a semi-everlasting dye. A semi-everlasting dye does not penetrate the hair shaft (unlike "everlasting" dyes which do penetrate the hair shaft and bypass away harm at the back of - it is your data that i'm maximum appropriate). Semi-everlasting dye only coats the hair shaft (that's why it washes out as adversarial to fadeing and growing to be out with the everlasting stuff). this variety of dye will serve to function only somewhat greater desirable volume and thickness on your hair. aside from that, there is no longer something. All those shampoos's, and so on., do no longer paintings. they are costly and are only approximately advertising to make the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for themselves. Such is the cosmetics industry.

I would recommend Nioxin they have systems for every hair type and it does work. If your hair is frizzy, nioxin smoothing system is a good bet. You can buy at salons. They have starter kits or you can buy the products separately.
The two products you have to use together are the cleanser and the scalp therapy. The other products in the line are optional. It's a natural product. I have many of my clients using the system and it does work for them. Check out this website. www.nioxin.com

try Pantene's sheer volume shampoo, it doesn't add a ton of volume, but it does help a little.

Shave it all off, it'll grow back thicker.
