You can try the Bel Air International(795 Skyway, San Carlos, CA, 650-596-9900), Palo Alto Flying Club (1903 Embarcadero Rd, Palo Alto, 650-494-7248), and the Stanford Flying Club (1886 Embarcadero Rd, Palo Alto, 650-858-2200). They are all good flight schools. Hope that helps!

I will be honest with you there really is not cheap way to get your private pilot rating, and really in aviation cheap is not the way to go. I would suggest to find a flight school you go to the AOPA website http://www.beapilot.com/ they have a database of flight schools all over the country as well as a lot of information about getting your rating. To get your Private pilot rating your looking at spending between 5800.00 - 7000.00 it really depends on you.
