Both. Girlfriend because you have a steady relationship and you know you can always have somebody to talk to. Single because you can party away and enjoy yourself (if you're still pretty young), you don't have to worry about cheating or anything of the sort.

personally i would rather have a boyfriend because for me, being exclusive means having fun and sharing the fun with someone you like/love. i find that if your single you get frustrated at all the b.s. that comes with having your fun....like dealing with the boys/girls who wont leave you alone and ask you to be their girlfriend/boyfriend over and over again. plus if your having a different kind of fun...you could be called slutty or permiscuous so i guess it just depends on the person you are. any certain reason why you ask?

Learn to have a nice balance of fun and a date--you can do both--lots of fun stuff is better shared---but if you don't want a steady or a committed relationship--make it known--stand up for yourself---A b/f or g/f is not supposed to be a smothering deal--you better have your fun before it's too late. depends i mean personally i like to be with someone because you have that one person that you like and likes u 2 instead of searching around i mean if you just like the hook up just be single if you prefer to be with someone who you can call your own then be in a relationship it just really depends on the person

with a boyfriend because i like the feeling of having only one person...i like the emotional bond and being able to have someone whom you can rely on or bake cookies for and do things together etc:D

i would prefer a relationship because it shows stability and caringness for another person. just popping around with different people isnt my style, i dont like sluts.
