Your question appears to be "how long can a person be kept alive with CPR?", isn't it?
The answer to that is that about 20 years ago on one of our Texas beaches two or three men working together kept a person alive for 2 - 3 hours using heart pump and direct breathing until EMS could arrive (the days before cell phones, hence the long delay).
The report I got was that the patient had a near-full recovery.

This time varies from person to person and may also be temperature dependent. In most references that I have read, 3 minutes is a time quoted as when brain damage due to lack of oxygen to the brain begins to occur. I would recommend that you discuss this with a physician.

About 8 minutes before permanent brain damage. Preferably, much less time than that. 4 minutes, but I know somebody whose heart had stopped for over 8 minutes. There was brain damage but he survived for another 5 years.

6-10 mins if the cpr is unsuccesful then the pt will die. actually if the heart stops beating cpr is introduced then, the patient is given a drug through i.v epinephrine
