first off, i work at a chocolate store...ok...so i accidentaly fed some lady a penut cluster. she said that it was very good and then said that she was allergic to nuts. she did not know what was in them! so i just kept on feeding them to her....the store was REALLY busy, so i didn't realize what i was doing until after she left...will she die?

First of all tell me where the store is so that Ican come in and get all the free samples.
If you fed her the "penut clusters" you are safe----it's lucky that you didn't feed her the PEANUT CLUSTERS as these may have given her an allergic attack.

This is a tough question... and a legitimate concern for all of us who work in foodservice.... There needs to be JUST AS MUCH ACCOUNTABLITY on the part of the consumer to state that they have a food allergy as there is on the proprietor to ensure safe food products to the consumer. Often, we do not know that someone is allergic until after the fact. I tend to doubt that based on the woman's reaction that she will die, maybe become sick, but nut allergies are typically very acute and fast reactions.
I recommend that you inform your shift manager ASAP to be on the safe side. Hope this helps and it's not your fault that she didn't tell you, nor is it your job to guess who is allergic to what. Only after you are informed of an allergy are you accountable.

well...i dont kno if you exactly killed her, if she didnt look like she was dying when you fed them to her she might just be okay......and if she told you she was allergic to them then would be pretty stupid to just keep on eating them. You know where im gettin at??

people who are allergic to peanuts know not to eat something called "Peanut Cluster"
I'm pretty sure she knew what was in them.

I've heard that the peanut is actually a legume (whatever that is), and not a nut, so you're probably in the clear.
