three years ago the doctors classified me as bypolar. ever since i have been trying to find a way to live my life without letting my disorder get the best of me. its not easy. it hurts alot and i find myself running from people as if im protecting them from getting hurt as well.
i recently met a man that i connect with by talking and getting to know each other. after many months we finally met. we agreed that we had never felt so comfortable with anyone. it was amazing. then he went back home to texas (im in ny) and im confused.
he was hurt before and doesnt enjoy drama. im a walking drama queen. i try not to be because i dont like it but unfortunetly i havent figured out how to stop. anytime i act out he ignores me. honestly i would ignore me. but the more he ignores me the more i act out.
i dont know what to do. usually the only reason i act like a drama queen is because i dont feel loved. most of that is being bypolar. am i unlovable because im bypolar/ a drama queen?

Your being a drama queen... Well that's the simple answer isn't it???for some that makes you unlovable... simple again???? No!!!!! Living with bipolar is far from simple as you are obviously and painfully aware, it is also as difficult for a partner who does not understand the condition to be in a relationship with somebody who does suffer from it....there are no quick fix answers to your question, what i would suggest is that you try and educate your partner exactly what bipolar is by giving them some literature for them to read...If they truly love you they will try and understand, if not then save yourself for somebody that does...It seems you have a lot of love to give, don't waste it, give it some one who wants to know and understand who you are,,,,good luck x x

its not unloveble, you just got to find out ways to control your bipolar disorder. keep on taking your meds at the times you must take it and maybe read up on bipolar disorder to know more about it and try to explain to him that you can't control it sometimes and you are not tring to piss him off or hurt him in any way...the "drama Queen" thing i wouldn't know what to say about that since im a guy but that something someone else might be able to help you with. Good luck and hope things work out between you two! ill read up on it also and email you some tips if i find some!

No!
Every person has some problems, its part of being human!
You have to get folks to love you for who you are & help you though the sitcky patches in life. Also try checking the web., there are vitamin coctails you can take that could well decrease the severity of the "stichy patches", & may wilth optimisation (for you) keep the problems at bay- you may controll them but may well not be able to eliminate them.
Chaps will usually ignor a woman who goes over the top in drama, its our defence mechanism to keep ourselves sane!

You aren't necessarily unlovable just because you're bipolar.
Keep taking your medications, and work hard on the "drama queen" stuff.

The fact that you say you know why your acting out and fully aware of it and why you are doing this, sounds like its not bi-polar causing this but a way to get attention.
