If you choose to doubt God or not make the effort to know Him, that is your decision to make. God will not force you to study scripture, anymore than He will force you to study in school or for a new job. The world is full of information about God, so that no one will be without excuse. No one can say, "I didn't know"
If you have access to internet, television, books etc. you are without excuse. There are a few, who don't have this type of information so God will judge them according to their conscience.
They will be judged by whether they chose to do good or evil.
God does not send anyone to hell. People choose to go into hell.
Laziness, or indifference, or just being too busy, will not be an excuse for rejecting Christ Jesus.
God Bless You....Peace.

He will send you to hell only if you reject him till the end! Here is your help, do not ignore this because God will know you heard the truth at least once. Jesus is Lord. He came sent by the father who is God of all things and has paid the price so you could receive his Holy spirit in Jesus name. Go read John and pay attention to chap 3. If you do not receive his Holy spirit then you will go to hell. That's the test, who has his spirit, it is a seal between you and him and his Holy spirit and your soul. If the body dies without this Holy spirit then it goes to hell, but if you have his spirit , it goes to heaven and lives forever with the God you don't even believe in! So get to work, you must read the bible and decide.! Free will, its up to you! start in John and read to the end!

You will most assuredly go to Hell for that. Plus, Jesus also has some say in the matter. If you do not praise Jesus he will cast you into Hell himself.
In Hell everyone burns and rots forever. Plus, they have worms. They will itch and can't scrarch, and they suffer painful farts.
Your excuse about not being sure about something, your excuse won't work. God will put you in Hell no matter what your excuse is.
If you conversed with an atheist, you could even go to Hell for that.
Your only hope is to praise Jesus every day, and do it fervently and emotinally and loudly. Jesus wants to hear you doing that. Everyday tell him he's the greatest, and don't worry about being excessive in your praise. That's what he wants.
It also helps if your shed tears. Also do it in public, go downtown and stand on the street corner and cry out "Hallelujah to Jesus!" The more you do that the better your chance of avoiding Hell.
Ask any church people what I'm telling you, and they will agree.
God and Jesus both are not amused by people who try to be cool and reserved in their praise.

Believing in God is not enough. Satan believes in God. You must have a personal relationship through Jesus.
What you must understand is that God is God. He is not concerned with your idea of fair or unfair, just or unjust.
You are to know and be sure of what you are doing here on this planet, and where you are going when this time in your life is finished. Your job is to seek God through His Word. Ask God to bring people to you to help you and protect you through this time.

There is a God in heaven that truly exists. Read in the Bible and see all the things of what is going to happen to us in heaven. It is true! But the bad choices you make, may not be accepted. God answers prayer and even for the littlest things. God loves us and we are in his hands!

Well, consequences of actions and states of being are just as real regardless of what you believe. If I refuse to believe in gravity and walk out of a 10th story window onto plain air, I will fall to my death just the same as if someone who did believe in gravity were to do so. I don't have to believe that fire causes burns to get burned. Nor do I have to believe there is a God nor Hell to end up in Hell. The reality of Hell is independent of our beliefs about it.

how do you figure it is unfair?
from the Christian perspective, everyone deserves to go to hell. it is simple justice, i.e. getting what you deserve.
those who go to heaven, get there because of God's grace and mercy. Grace is unmerited favor, i.e. getting something you don't deserve, and mercy is not getting what you do deserve.
God still requires justice, so the grace part is that he himself became incarnate to pay the debt owed of those who are "saved" (saved from what? from the just wrath of God).
