I would really respect honesty from all of you men out there.Please help to answer this age old question that bothers the mind of some of us women.Do you go to bars not just to have fun and to have a few laughs,but with the thought of getting lucky as well? Or is the thought of getting laid your main objective and the bars give you the best possiblity in achiving your goal? Simply put, you want sex and bars are where you can easily find it? Or do you just go to shoot pool and drink beer. Alone with out your friends.

I don't do bars at all! but to answer your question it is a mixture between wanting sex and just having fun with the boys! Me, I am a good old fashioned guy who believes strongly that I shouldn't have sex until I get married and make a full on life long commitment to 0one woman and then sex is like iciing on the cake. It is the reward for commitment based love where my focus goes beyond the mere physicle side of the relationship. Bars foster wrong ideas concerning relationships between men and woman and true friendship gets lost or blurred. True friendship is awesome and where the relationship should start and then if intimacy and love develope, Thats a plus. But in Bars, we take the caboos before the engine, we put the cart before the horse and the underlined message to woman is a woman is only as good as she performs on a date or only as valuable as she is good looking. Never mind her peronality, her heart, her ambitions, her dreams and goals. Never mind her entire family and friends, those wonderful KEY relationships in her life that are absolutly essential and part of the whole package of HER. Bars and honky tonks and rinkydink joints I believe confuse things so much. There we take something so deeply intimate and bring down to the level of pure entertainment or what we can selfishly gain for ourselves never minding how it will affect her for the long term. I am deeply commited to blessing a woman, ONE woman for the LONG term! Even though I am not married, I personally believe that abstaining now and refraining from bars is part of my way of showing true love by laying down that part of my life for the one I am destined to marry one day. I do not know who she is yet, but I know God has someone out there all picked out special for me and it is not fair to do that to her now knowing the future of a marriage is at stake. Plus, she is well worth waiting for! A PRECIOUS JEWEL, MY TREASURE FOR LIFE. Thats true love. I keep myself as a man away from places that present possible situations that can jeperdize my purity and the future. I keep my dream of this one woman alive even though I have not met her yet. I hold onto that with everything I have inside of me. She is worth it!

Guys are always looking to score. if they weren't, then they would be girls. The bar scene is easier to score with chicks because they usually are drunk, half drunk or going to the bars for the same reason. Guys do also go to play pool and have fun, but ultimately always want to get laid.
If you don't want guys to look at you just to score, then you shouldn't be going to bars. If you are thirsty, stay home and get a six pack. If you want a nice guy who doesn't want sex from you, then hang out with gays.
If you are looking for a relationship, then the best places to meet a decent guy is in your everyday places that you frequent, like the supermarket, the post office, the bank, department store, etc. When you aren't looking for someone, that is when you will usually find the good ones. My advice to you is do the things that make you happy and always keep a friendly attitude everywhere you go. Then, you will find the type of guy you were hoping for. Don't go to bars, unless you want to have sex.

I have been to bars countless times and have NEVER gone with the sole purpose of getting lucky.
Ladies, you might want to ask yourselves why so many guys do go looking for azz at bars. Easy women may be the reason. Of course, it's only a few slutty women that are doing the multitude of guys out there, right?

The truth is these days not much picking up happens at bars anyway. Thats in sydney, australia. Everyone just sticks to there own group.
As for myself when i go to a bar i want to go out and have a good time. I think that there are better chances to meet someone descent elsewhere.

i believe everytime a single guy goes out wether it is the bar or whatever in the back of the mind where always lookin to score
we go out to hang out and have fun but always have the mind on the prize gettin lucky
