I believe in "metaphorical" angels, which by definition mean really nice people who have touched my life in some special way, but there's no way I believe in actual angels-people with wings and magical powers. To me...they're in the same categories as unicorns....

I believe in Angels....yup. I have my own reasons that verify that they are real to me. I love them so much that I named my first Daughter Angel.

I do... and here's why. A good friend of mine (grew up with her she's about 5 years older than me) was in a car wreck back in 2001. Now I know you're thinking, what does a car wreck have to do with angels?? Well, here's the thing. My friend was on her way home from work at like 1am and was rounding a bend when she was hit by a drunk driver head on. On her purse, which was on the passenger seat, was a little gardian angel pin. I've seen the pictures and I can't begin to describe this... The force at which she was hit caused the parts under the hood to come into her lap which should have pretty much killed her instantly (as told to her and her parents by the ambulance attendants). The inside of the car was bloody but the only thing that had no blood on it was her purse.
My sister died when I was a baby, and she was like a sister to this girl... One of the ambulance attendants was a friend and told her she must have had an angel watchign over her because she should not be here. Today she is married and has 2 young boys... She went through a lot of surgery but is otherwise perfectly normal.
Something or somebody was watching out for her that day and I am very thankful for it.

I most definitely believe in the presence of angels. Have even been visited by a couple in a time when that was the only way God could help calm and reassure me that things were in His hands.
This was more than your everyday, people being nice and touching your life in a special way. When these angels visit you know without a doubt they were Heaven sent. They looked like ordinary people but, they knew things that only God could have told them. They didn't have wings, they did not perform magic tricks, heal the blind or make the cripple walk. Not when they were with me. But, they did perform the miracle of touching my heart and soul and giving me a peace which can only be found through the touch of God.
I am a believer! And with good reason.

I believe that there are true Angels with wings who may not look human at all who reside in heaven with God. I also believe a few spirit's of people who died may come back at times to help . I also think in a few cases God may even send resurrected people back also. And Oh yes I feel the Holy Ghost has influence to tell people when they are needed by other people which act in most cases. The use of Angles upon this earth I am sure is a special or in some cases a last resort type of thing for God to use.

Well you know the Bible talks about them at great length. You may or may not believe the Bible. What you believe doesn't necessarily make it true or false. What is true is still true even if you won't acknowledge it to be true. There is a much bigger question you need to ask yourself than if angels exist! You need to come to grips with the fact that we are not an accident. We are created beings who live on a created earth with just the right amount of air and food and temperature and beauty and bodily functions and emotions and a conscience and about a million other divine "coincidences". God has given you everything you NEED to know in His Bible. Please! Start reading and go to church. Fellowship with other believers, learn about Him and when you finally BELIEVE that He sent His Son to live a perfect life and die in your place as a sacrifice to pay for your sins, you will have been born from above and will now be in fellowship with God! From then on, No Worries, Mate! Remember, I said you need only BELIEVE. You don't need to DO anything. Leave that for people trying to "earn" their way into Heaven. God's Grace has paid your way, you need only TRUST (believe) Him for your salvation. Start reading His Word right now!!! I said RIGHT NOW! God's Love. Angels? They're real...and they're spectacular!

Ummm, if you believe the bible; then yes you would believe in them. They were created first, before the earth and before humans. They may or may not have wings...but they were not, NEVER human. They are a race of beings...angels. Humans do NOT become angels when they die. I don't think they have magical powers like you're referring about. They do have abilities given to them by God. Honestly we don't know a whole lot about them, they are messengers, they are helpers, they do many things. But, again, we aren't told a lot, I think it's because they are not to be worshiped and humans would problems do that...in fact, it seems that many people already do worship them.
They are very special beings....who love us very much.....then there are the angels who turned against God, and they are of course Demon's...still angels just evil, very evil!

I definately believe in angels but I don't believe that they ever were human people. I believe that God created them as spirit beings in heaven and that some (maybe up to 1/3) of them made bodies for themselves before the flood but when the bodies were destroyed in the flood, God no longer allowed them to do this as their intentions and actions were wicked. These wicked angels have now been thrown out of heaven and are confined to the earth along with their leader, Satan. The remaining angels in heaven do God's will and have a tremendous amount of love and concern for humans here on earth.

Angels are real. They don't have magical powers and not all of them have wings. The word angel is from the Hebrew for messenger. They are the courtiers to the Living God.

Maybe it would help if you took away the Hollywood picture of angels you have in your mind and focused more on the time you just "happened" to have a thought of slowing down on the highway and a moment later came upon an accident.

they do and it is silly
Angels were extraterrestrials ,that were depicted with wings to symbolize that they came from the heavens.
people are taking symbolism litaraly all the time ,in the Garden of Eden the fruit of knowledge was symbolic language ,there was no real fruit the snake was symbolic for Enki the good Anunaki who wanted to help the created Adams race, who were slaves,to freedom .
and the Bad Anunaki in control made him look bad instead,
.their decendents try to control to this day
Anunaki were real enough .they are talked about all over the planet in the myths of many early civilizations
Dragons ,Serpants ,Demons and Devils represent them.
the reptilian brain in our heads is a souvenir of Anunaki genetics
