there is no way you can say "JESUS IS GOD and SON OF GOD" ? You are correct when you make this statement.
‘But isn’t Jesus called a god in the Bible?’ someone may ask. This is true. Yet Satan is also called a god. (2 Corinthians 4:4) At John 1:1, which refers to Jesus as “the Word,” some Bible translations say: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” But notice, verse 2 says that the Word was “in the beginning with God.” And while men have seen Jesus, verse 18 says that “no man hath seen God at any time.” (Authorized or King James Version) So we find that some translations of verse 1 give the correct idea of the original language when they read: “The Word was with God, and the Word was divine,” or was “a god,” that is, the Word was a powerful godlike one. (An American Translation) Clearly, Jesus is not Almighty God. In fact, Jesus spoke of his Father as “my God” and as “the only true God.”
Did Jesus ever say that he was God? No, he never did. Rather, in the Bible he is called “God’s Son.” And he said: “The Father is greater than I am.” Also, Jesus explained that there were some things that neither he nor the angels knew but that only God knew. (Mark 13:32) Further, on one occasion Jesus prayed to God, saying: “Let, not my will, but yours take place.” (Luke 22:42) If Jesus were the Almighty God, he would not have prayed to himself, would he? In fact, following Jesus’ death, the Scripture says: “This Jesus God resurrected.” (Acts 2:32) Thus the Almighty God and Jesus are clearly two separate persons. Even after his death and resurrection and ascension to heaven, Jesus was still not equal to his Father.
As for the “Holy Spirit,” the so-called third Person of the Trinity, this is not a person but God’s active force. John the Baptizer said that Jesus would baptize with holy spirit, even as John had been baptizing with water. Hence, in the same way that water is not a person, holy spirit is not a person. (Matthew 3:11) What John foretold was fulfilled when, following the death and resurrection of Jesus, holy spirit was poured out on his followers gathered in Jerusalem. The Bible says: “They all became filled with holy spirit.” (Acts 2:4) Were they “filled” with a person? No, but they were filled with God’s active force. Thus the facts make clear that the Trinity is not a Bible teaching. Actually, long before Jesus walked the earth gods were worshiped in groups of three, or trinities, in places such as ancient Egypt and Babylon.

Jesus was God in the flesh, if you continue study of the bible you will find that Jesus most definitely is God, but that there are three distinct personalities that form the Godhead. God-the father, God-the son, and God- the spirit (Holy Spirit). The point of this verse is simply that no human is good, not even the only perfect person to ever live. All men have failed and fallen short of the Glory of God.( Romans 3:23) Thus stating that every one has sinned. The wages of sin is death (we all deserve hell), but the gift of God is life through his son Jesus Christ. The point being that the trinity is a complex subject, that can be very confusing and is at the root of this discussion. But the main thing is that we realize that as Christians we are no better than anyone else, we have simply accepted the amazing gift that Christ has offered.

The scripture reference you give: Mark 10:18 Jesus is referring to the gentleman, because this man had never heard of Jesus.
Jesus was asking him "Why do you call me good"
The man had no knowledge that Jesus was the Messiah.
The man ran up to Him and fell on his knees and called Him "Good Teacher" Falling on his knees in front of Jesus
was "Worship" Jesus only said this to test the mans faith.
Let me ask you a question: How do you interpret John 1:1-2 or
John 1:14 or Isa 7:14 or Gen 1:26 (Why does God refer to Himself as "Us")
or Gen 3:22 (Again "Us")
There are many more references I could quote you:
I hope you take the time to find them for yourself.
God Bless You....Peace.

this is a very confusing question. no Jesus isnt God. for 1. God has been around way way way longer then jesus 2.jesus is Gods son 3. if jesus was God then jesus would be his own father and all the times he was praying would be worshipping himself. but lets leave it up to God. but God did send Jesus down here and jesus was God in human flesh.

You need to learn how people spoke back then. You are not quoting anything as they were intended.
Mark 14:62 And Jesus said, I AM: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. :63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses? :64 Ye have heard the blasphemy:...
John 8:19 Then they said unto Him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. 20 These words spake Jesus in the treasurey, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
John 8:24, "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sins."
John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.
Jesus rewards those who worship Him:
Mat 8:2 And, behold, there came a leper **and worshipped him,** saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
Mat 8:3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Jesus came to set an example for US, Jesus was HUMBLE, obedient, loving , etc. "one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him..." <---this verse shows that everything was created for and through Jesus Christ, therefore, JEsus is the creater (GOD). Jesus is GOD the son.
Are you forgetting John 1:1, "in the begining was the word , and the word was with God, and the word WAS God"
Jesus is the eternal word of God, making Him GOd also.

joining a church group that delves into the bible verses and led by the minister is the best way to learn the bible. God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit are all God, they are one and the same but do different duties.

Your confusion is not uncommon when it comes to understanding the Holy Trinity. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each seperate, but all equal.
