God did it to his children Adam and Eve. He took away their ability to live forever. Don't give me that crap about how they 'chose' to die. What if your kids played with fire after you demanded they not do it? Would you leave the fireplace within reach for them to touch it (tree)? What if they did, would you let them burn to a black crisp?

God did the same thing, he may have not killed them directly but he allowed for them to meet their own death. Don't you think you could make a better parent than God? Are you wrong for not letting your kid learn the hard way? Do you take the rod to him?

I think...when it came down to it, they were mere humans, and he was God. They disobeyed him, and so they had to pay, basically. However, if you want to critisize how he dealt with things, look at the facts:

Adam and Eve did not listen to advice, they went on ahead and made their own mistakes, of their own accord, and they had to suffer the consequences of their actions.

Sure, God could have just let them off the hook, but if you give an inch, they'll take a mile and God seemed to understand that. So in the end, I guess he realized that he had to let them go, let them make their own path in life.

After all, no 'parent' can control their kids forever, and they're doomed if they try. But he didn't let go completely. He still watched over them from afar, only helping out when asked.

It's the circle of parenting, in a way. You bring them into this life, this world, and you try to give them everything, because you want the best for them. You want them to do things you never could do.

However, sooner than later, they start to rebel, they don't listen to your advice anymore, because what do you know anyway, right? And you learn to let them go, to let them live life.

But they never forget you, not truly. In the end, when they've explored all there is to explore, and they finally have a reason, a purpose, in life, that they're satisfied with, they'll return.

And you'll welcome them back with open arms, and maybe you'll be proud of who they've become, maybe not. But you'll love them anyway, because they're still your children, and they always will be.

Be very careful of the words you say.. in the end you will have to account for them
God's understanding is not our understanding
For the wages of sin is Death .. God made that perfectly clear
You want to Question God .. go right ahead but I wont join that band wagon
Saying God has poor parenting skills ... that's horrible
Say this about the God who:
Wakes you up in the morning
Puts food on your table
Makes sure your family is safe
Makes the sun rise and set each day
tells your heart to beat and your blood to flow warm in your veins
Died for us so that we could live
And he is a bad parent... maybe you need to be in foster care?
Have you considered the alternative?
No, I would not kill my child
That does not make me better
My thinking is not Gods thinking
People kill me getting so full of themselves with their education and theory that they start to question God's auhority , realness, purpose
There is still chance at eternal life in heaven with God, but only through accepting the son Jesus Christ

Kay, you really need to read the New Testament. You're missing a few key points here, like the fact that God offers us all eternal life despite being sinners. Start with the book of Romans, explains a lot of the parts of Christianity you seem to not be familiar with.

The death you are talking about was not a physical death, but a spiritual death. God ordered Adam & Eve not to eat of this one fruit, Eve, being curious kept eying the fruit, Satan offered it to her. Eve said that God said they were not eat or even touch this fruit or they would surely die, satan sad noyou wount die, that it would give they knoledge and would become like God. Eve believed satan over God and disobey Him. rightawy they received the spirit of satan Gods spirit withdrew, they became seperated from God. All of the offspring inherited their spirit and became children of the Devil. Man has to be regenerated inorder to receive the Holy Spirit of God.

My children know that for whatever choice they make, there is a consequence (good or bad). No, I would not ever kill my child. Some children must learn the hard way. It never mattered that I told my younger son that stove was "hot" when he was a toddler. He ended up learning the hard way.

If God can't get His children to behave, what ever made us think our children would behave?

God put the tree there to test us, in the end, sin is a learning experience, because humans will realize that if we wish to be happy that we need to listen to God instead of ourselves. It is all for the Glory of God.

No and neither does God. You pick where you want to spend eternity. A person can not expect to break God's laws and rebel against Him in life and expect to enter Heaven at death. No sin will be allowed in Heaven. That is why Jesus came as our Savior to help us live in this life and to bring us to Heaven in the next.

And then allowed Himself to be put to death on a Cross for the salvation of their Children. That's a loving God if I ever knew one.

i'd be stupid to declare my judgment is previous God's. i do no longer know what variety of human beings those babies would have grown as much as be, God does, alongside with any achievable decision. possibly a gaggle of guy-slaughterers. i do no longer know the positioned up-loss of life trip spot of any of those babies, God does. i do no longer know the effects of this adventure to each individual residing, that died, or maybe those to be born sooner or later, yet God does, alongside with any achievable decision. i do no longer know the environmental outcomes of this adventure international extensive, yet God does, alongside with any achievable decision. do you recognize a number of those issues like God, or do you only see "ohhh those damaging babies!" like quite a few small-minded moron. As I mentioned in yet another subject count, to decide God's offender wrongs is as precise as a 6-300 and sixty 5 days old working the justice device. Edit - i did no longer experience like going into information approximately why because of the fact i've got got here across maximum human beings right here whine approximately Biblical references. bypass study it your self approximately why that occurred because of the fact that is all top there. yet on an factor be conscious, in case you asked the question theoretically pointing out those issues in the Bible are offender asks of "God", then you definately apart from would could settle for something of the Bible as theoretical certainty while He mentioned He became into the omniscient beginning up and the top, as a result you are able to not argue with this variety of being's judgment. Arguing against God's theoretical strikes in accordance to the Bible is easily brainless because of the fact to realize this which you will could take the Bible as certainty, and to take the Bible as certainty ability you're additionally taking God's omnipotence as certainty...geniuses.
