ARMAGEDDON IS SIMPLY HIS WAR TO CLEAN THE EARTH OF WICKED PEOPLE & ALL BAD THINGS THAT EXIST, & PEOPLE WHOSE WORSHIP IS UNACCEPTABLE TO HIM.

Why, though, would God wage a global war? Armageddon is closely related to one of his cardinal qualities, justice. The Bible declares: “God is a lover of justice.” (Psalm 37:28) He has seen all the acts of injustice perpetrated during man’s history. This naturally provokes his righteous displeasure. Thus, he has appointed his Son to wage a just war in order to do away with this entire wicked system.

Only God is capable of waging a truly just and truly selective war during which righthearted individuals, wherever they may be on earth, will be preserved. ) And only he has the right to impose his sovereignty over all the earth, for it is his creation. Revelation 4:11.

What about survivors? Indeed, no one needs to perish at Armageddon. The apostle Peter observed: “God, does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9) And the apostle Paul stated that God’s “will is that all sorts of men should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth.”

Consider the good Har–Magedon promises to achieve, godly humanity’s peaceful future on this planet, no more pollution, no more war, no more poverty, no more disease or even death. God promises: “Look! I am making all things new.” Revelation 21:3,4

Armegeddon is God's war against the wicked. The beast is the governments of men. So, the answer is yes and yet so much more--God will first close all the false religions. The governments under men and all the greedy commercial systems will also fall. The demons and Satan will be locked away in a state of inactivity for 1,000 years. The Bible says too that there are 2 groups of people who will be destroyed: 1.) Those who do not know God (because of a refusal to do so) and 2.) Those who do not obey him. When all these things are gone, there should be nothing left to cause persecution. And, then, the 2nd resurrection!!

Armageddon is a war that will happen with the UN or some such combination of countries that for some reason decide to attach Israel. I am also think or hope the US sides with Israel in this war but who knows? The lord will not stand to see Israel taken again and will come to the help of Israel in some manner.
