I want to dye my hair Purple Passion. Right now, my hair color is dark brown. If I just dye my hair using Purple Passion without bleaching it, how will the color look on my hair?

It won't show up at all. If i'm thinking of the same one it is semi-permanent and when I did it i has to bleach it really blond and that was the only way it would work. But just play with it, you can see for yourself without bleaching first and then bleach later. I really like to just play with the bottom half of my hair cause then it isn't as drastic but w/e floats your boat

All it is going to do is change the tone of your hair, becuase that color is semi permament it will only deposit. Since you say that you have dark brown hair when you put the color on your hair without bleaching it, it will make it like an eggplant color. So yeah if you want the color to look like that swacth that you saw at Sally's... bleach it... better yet... go to the salon!

you may not see alot of difference but in the sun you will see more. I dont know if i would lighten your hair just to make it purple temporarily
