You also may have gotten some weed with additives. You can never be sure you're smoking pure weed, and those extra chemicals can do a lot more harm than just weed!

Headache remedies... lots of water, low light, no tv, stress, caffeine or noise, several tylenol.

Also, instead of escaping your stress and problems with drugs, try facing up to them and work on fixing them. Pot and other recreational chemicals just scramble your brain and keep you from thinking.

I have a friend who smoked pot throughout middle and high school, and is now clean. He's the first to admit he has huge memory problems, and relies on his wife to keep him on track.

Be smart and make this first time your last time.

Go with it and ride it out until the effect wears off. I will quit for awhile and everytime I re-start I get a headache too. I have no medical explanation for this although I'm sure there is one. If you continue to smoke the effect will go away but you must decide and I can assure you that not only will you get a headache etc. you will also feel groggy and sort of swamped out and a bit heavy when you wake in the morning. The only remedy for these is not to smoke. And if there is no other benefit, if you are going there to offset some sort of social pressure you will not get much out of it other than lost time, slothfulness and perhaps some other effects such as some sort of social acceptance by those who also smoke. If you have lots of energy and are well driven and dynamic enough and have any doubts as to why you are using it then perhaps you should re-analyze such behavior and determine if some sort of alternative isn't better.

I doubt the headache is the aftermath of your high. 5 hits isn't really a lot. I'm not going to tell you not to smoke weed anymore, but at least be smart about it. Unless you would actually trust someone with your life, don't smoke their weed. You never know what has been added to it. Coke or anything can be added to give it that extra hit. Be careful!! Oh...and probably aspirin would help the headache the best

hmmm first not to be your mom or anything but weed really has ruined a lot of my friends lives....so im not incoraging you do it again EVER'
but you could have gotten bad weed
they make it and sometimes mix the cheaper stuff with other drugs...harder drugs that are worse for you...its dangerous if they dont clean it right
second you could have had an allergic reaction
my friend is allergic to it and ended up at the hospital after her deadache turned into a migrane where she couldnt stand up...
third it could just be because your body doesnt like it and is telling you to stop
or it could be your guilt
hmm drugs arent a good idea....
but i know youve heard that 10000 times
but im serious dude
stop now before its to late

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

only time will cure that weed headache. and next time you get the urge to smoke it remember that headache. ought to keep you drug free. if you only go as far as the experimenting stage then no reason to be concerned but continuing use is where you will find a problem. good luck. life is way cooler being clean.

You fried your brain cells- of course you are going to have a headache. What can you do about it? Don't get high again. Maybe try exercising and drinking lots of water to rid your body of the toxins.

You may have had a reaction to the pot!! And don't laugh because it is possible. I don't think I would be doing it again anytime soon. I would take some Motrin and go to sleep and sleep it off. And again, don't do it again. Let this be a lesson.

What were you smoking? What was it lased with? Did you drink alcohol too?

Many factors here. Pure marijuana does not give a person hangovers. Never ever herd of this....

My best guess is that it wasn't the weed as much as it is your worrying about the weed. Sounds dumb, but have you tried the normal headache remedies like aspirin or caffeine?
