You never know. Anything's possible. I remember sometime back in the 1980's I was talking to a pit crew member of a Winston Cup team. I told him that I thought it was a waste that the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was only used once a year, and that they ought to race NASCARs there. He actually laughed at me and said that IMS is too flat, and that it would never happen.
I guess this dumb blonde female isn't as dumb as she looks. :)

There def. should be a Nextel Cup race or two at Kentucky. Thats a great speedway in my opinion. Instead of looking at tracks in New York, or Washington . Not sure where they are all talking about building one, I think NASCAR should consider Kentucky for a race. Take away a Pocono race or something.

I live abt 4 hrs away from the track, there has been only one race there.. its a great track but nascar sees Kentucky as hicksville usa.. (they forget abt the ky derby) but the track has issued a lawsuit to get nascar to do as they promised to hold races there..when the track was built. Kentucky will always be over looked because people still thinks were hicks... or hillbillies but in actuallity were briars..

The way nextell is today, sponsors and big money gets their way in racing. Toyota has a plant based in Kentucky, so only fittingly they bring a race to a nearby track. Providing the track is of standards and ready to spend millions every year to upgrade and build...

Someplace will have to gove up a race for Kentucky to have one,and that is not likely to happen anytime soon.

okay first thing it is NEXTAL not NEXTAL. but very possible kentucky will. last i heard they were takin nascar to court to force them to get a race at kentucky. now this was well over a year ago dont know if it ever happened or not.
