Is it a good idea to have sex with my ex? We broke about 2 wks ago and were together for 5yrs. I asked him for sex. Just a night of fun, a booty call if you wish.
He said he wasnt sure it was the right thing to do.
I still love him, but I dont think that matters at the moment. I just want to have some fun with him. We go out for tea and stuff still, why is it so wrong to have sex with your ex? I am not ready to move on yet and think that its ok to have fun when your single, but I am not a **** and just want fun with him.

It's not good or bad, it's great. Think about it, the both of you already know each other, you can already talk, and both of you need sex. It's called having your cake and eating it too.
I've done this, and if you both agree to stop if one of you becomes involved with someone else, you'll both be fine. More people do this more often than you think. Enjoy.

I have a friend that's in the same boat as you. You two need to get together, what do you think?
It's too much baggage to have sex with an ex, you both need to cut the string and go away.

If you plan on moving on, and your ex doesn't I say its a bad idea. If you love him, you shouldn't use him for sex. It would make things confusing. You might hurt him a lot in the end. I don't think you would like it if he broke it off with you and used you for sex until he moved on.
