I don't use tylenol, I prefer the store brand, but still. On the label I think they all have a chart that lists ages as well as by weight. My son is 2 but by weight he can go into the 3-4 year age range. I usually follow by age instead to make sure that I don't give him too much. On the dr sears website they say that a 22lb child can have 1.6ml up to 5 times a day or 7mg per lb. But I would check the box anyway.

My son was about 25Lbs at 12 months, this is why I went by age instead of by weight since he was bigger.

1.6mg is the correct dose for infants weighing 20 pounds or more. Is the 10 month old close to 20 pounds? All my kids were at least that weight at 10 months.

Medication is given by weight as well as age. By the time kids are 2 to 3 years old they should be taking Childrens Tylenol, not infants.

follow the directions on the bottle and then if you cant figure it out call your dr. You might want to try a tepid bath to see if you can get the fever down before you give the baby anything. And let them run in just a diaper. People quite often think that if a baby has a fever to bundle them up, when you do that you are holding all of the heat into their body.

it depends on the formulation. Infant tylenol is more concentrated, so they get a smaller amount. But Childrens Tylenol isn't as concentrated, so if that was all they had, they'd have to give her more to equal the dose of Infant formulation. And the dose for either infant's or children's depends on weight, not age.

What is ty? Like Tylenol? It says right on the box how much to give to the age limit.
