it took me 3 nights to break the habit....i just laid in bed with my eyes wide open...3 nights later i slept 2 hrs.by the fourth week
my sleep went back to 7 hrs...good luck !! i know it is hard to do but the fight is worth it....

Don't try to go cold turkey. It could endanger your health.
