I need a file converter to listen to certain files in .mp3. I have .wma files that I need to be mp3's so I can use my other program to edit something. Basically, I want to listen to a couple of select songs reversed, but my program doesn't use .wma's. So, I need to convert these .wma's. to mp3s. I used the Switch downloads, but my trial ended.

It's not the best in the world, but it works if you're just looking for something basic, it's called Audacity. I'm not exactly sure what formats it uses or a lot of details (don't use it personally), but here's a link.

Emm... Don't most Music Programs come with a converter installed into the application so your can change to MP3 from WMA or Vice Versa. I know iTunes does.

CNET has this listed as a free converter with no adware:

Haven't tried it personally but it might do the trick.
