Ladies... what is it that a guy does, or what is it about a guy, that induces you to say "I like you as a friend," "You're like a brother to me," "I don't think of you in that way," and other such atrocities?
This is like my fourth straight "let's just be friends." It's gotta stop.
I'm good looking. that's not it.
Any insights would be appreciated from the bottom of my heart. And other places.

There is no "true" answer.
I have been "your like a sister to me" twice..... they kill.....
Neither of them could give me a straight answer. but a while ago I felt that way toward a guy who liked me. I guess it is someone you feel so comfortable with that you just cant see kissing them... but somehow I overcame that and relized the comfortableness was what drew me to them, and I kissed them once and wow it was amazing. so their point of view could change!
but dont ever give up. believe me..... things can work out.

with out conflict or friction there is no passion or fire. if you agree all the time then you are just like all the other little hens that she hangs around with. and if she can just push you over then you will provide little emotional challenge. think about that and then think about how you approach the situation every time. you say you are good looking but are you still afraid that she will walk away because you have a contrary opinion. you dont have to be a jerk but you should have opinions that dont depend on her.

That's the ladies way of indirectly saying "I'm not interested". Its not very nice, but easier for them. Sadly for you its not avoidable, so your just gonna have to get back out there that is interested. Good Luck.

You both usually feel weirded out if you were in any other situation than just good friends

sometimes, some women just won't find you attractive to them. accept their friendship. there is a small chance it may possibly later develop into something more, but it's unlikely.
