Jesus said that the path to heaven was paved by God's grace through faith in Him, not by earthly sacrifice. Whosoever BELIEVES in Him shall have eternal life... not whosoever sacrifices the most.
Jesus gave to the poor, and taught that as well. How many Communists do you know that actually give to the poor? And on the other hand, the U.S. is the most generous country in the world, far outgiving any other nation. Communism is institutionalized theft. Whereas the Bible teaches that the rewards of a mans labor should go to the one who is doing the laboring. It should not be taken from him and given to another. Yes Christians should give to the poor, not to the government in hopes that the government will then disperse their money to those in need.
There is an old saying that goes:
"You can give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, or you can teach him to fish and he will eat for a lifetime."

The real answer is YES! Money is an enemy of Jesus and it will be destroyed by Christ. All power, dominion, and authority are enemies of Jesus. Death is the last enemy Jesus will destroy. But first he must strip the greedy of their possessions. This will happen by the spreading of the word of God and not by Christ himself. Money is finite and will not last. There will be one last attempt after money gails to bring it back but this cannot work either. The only way is Jesus way. Anyone who does not wish to give up money is evil and will be dealt with in some manner.Get ready to live without it. Those who have property will lose it. Those who store up money or gold will lose it. Those who think of themselves more than others will be dealt with. Watch what happens because you will likely see this occur within the next few years. It's inevitable and useless to resist. We can have forgiveness but we must do as he commands us. Sell all you have and give it to the poor. You cannot serve two masters. Money and possessions are the definition of MAMON. Not JUST wealth.

Having money is not evil, it is the love of money that distracts mankind from God that is evil. Many Christians support charities that help the poor. What you are stating is not scriptural and I take it as just another attack against Christians. No, we don't have to live like beggars. Infact the more money we have the more we can help others. Once again you have taken scripture out of context and you did not even finish the verses to complete the whole message of that text. Christians could not be communists because communists don't believe in God, I think you should address the atheists with that stupid wise crack.

No thanks to Jim Jones, David Karesh and other cult leaders - if real Christians try to exist in a communal fashion, they are labeled as dangerous cults and out come the deprogrammers, the atheist driven media who hate Christianity anyway to twist and turn them into another Jim Jones set up.
Christians could possibly live in communal fashion - assuming some idiot did not try to seize it for his own sick ambitions, or the media left them alone. The fact is, it would be better for real Christians if everyone had the same mind as recorded in the Book of Acts. if they are divided however, it wouldnt last very long.

Communism is a system for a whole country. Christians are called to be generous with what we have been given. This is different than communism.
Communism does not work because it does not take into account people's sinful nature. There are a few small instances of communism working, but that requires a small group of people who are dedicated to the cause. (Incidentally, these are generally religious groups). Although there are way more incidences of this type of economy failing than succeeding.

Christendom can not be confined or be defined by a human political or social systems. I do not fall into the trap of the Reformed or even the modern evangelicals that believe that the United States must have a certain political system or even moral/religious system in order to "win favor with God." This so called American Civil Religion. We pray to God for good government as well as giving God thanks for the blessings he has bestowed on us and our country.

Jesus lived a life if spiritual happiness to set an example for the rest of us. Jesus knew that it would be impossible for all of us to live like he did, because he was the son of god and other people followed him. He was our shepard and so he gave us what belonged to him (his life). But he did this so that we would never have to live a life of poverty and deprevation. Because of him we can live comfartably and give to others, but still life happily with our children and our parents and our brothers and sisters. the bible says many things, but they are not the exact words of jesus, remember that they have been translated over and over again losing their meaning. If you want to know the meaning of these texts then you must analyze them yourself and come to your own conclusions.
P.S.-communism is corrupt and jesus would oppose it if he were here now.

Yes or at least very Socialistic. However, communism tends to lead to another of the "deadly sins." However, while one could make case for capitalism encouraging greed, one could also make a case for communism encouraging sloth. Is one "sin" better or worse than another? Note: The United States is not a "christian" country - we are supposed to have a "separation of church and state."

No, everything that christianity stands for is totally opisite of communism, whither or not it is just econimically. We aren't capitalists its just alot of people, although claiming to be followers of Jesus, they are actually very Satanish. Because they have let greed over take them, etc, they want to be saved but they want to be rich, does that make since? No matter what communism isn't the way to go. but that is just my opinion

That does not advocate communism but something more radical. Communism involves a forcable sharing of resources. Christ calls for a voluntary sharing.
