I have known him for 5 months and he has had a crush on me and he asked me out. But in the past week he has been acting different but he still likes me or that is what he tells his best friend. He has hugged me and I want to kiss him should I ???????

Sounds like y'all are dating, not going together as in a relationship. However, only kiss him when the moment is right, don't force it or it will feel awkward.
