I am a stay at home mom and although i never go anywhere i would like to look decent. I am tired of looking tired and crappy just cause i am at home all day. Simple hairdos would be great, nothing too dolled up. Please help me out!

I have long wavy/curly hair and a round face. My main hair do is a ponytail. I would like to look decent when my hubby gets home from a long day at work. A hair do that is good to run to the store or not.

Who will see it? Or... Who are you trying to impress?

The mail man? A neighbor lady? The paper boy? The plumber? The Schwanns man? A vacuum salesman? The Jehovah's Witnesses? Mormon missionaries? Your husband? Your kids? The pool guy? The butler? Yourself?

I don't mean to make fun. It is important to consider what you are trying to achieve. Go to the beauty shop and consult them on your choice of haircut. Get one that is simple to care for that gives you a naturally attractive look. Get one that gives you options on how you fix it up on any given day. Get one that YOU like.

I don't know if your hair is long or short, but I have short hair and only spend 5 minutes on it. When I get hair cuts, I get it texturized. After washing, I put some mousse in it then dry my hair just using my fingers to create volume. I don't use a brush or comb and have it kind of spiky. Then I either use a strong hold hairspray or use a texturizing gel and hairspray. Next time you go to a hairstylist, let them know you want a simple, but nice hairstyle. Look through the styling magazines in the salon for ideas too. Good luck!

Stand over the stove for a few hours. I hear that its good for your roots.
Folding laundry is supposed to be good for volume.

Stay away from phones, they have been known to dry out the hair.
