Ouch. I hate that. Rinse with hot water with a tablespoon of salt dissolved in it. Just rinse and spit. For pain, try a little ice on it for a few seconds.

If it is a small bite its fine, the toungue does tend to bleed profusely becasue it is very well supplied by blood vessels. the bleeding will stop on its own if it is small. but remember, it will be sore cos it also is supplied well with nerves hence you taste with your tongue. bleeding should stop in an hour tops. if it is a large laceration which i dont think it is, then you may need to see a doctor, but chances are if you bit it its no bigee!
Ice is good, but importantly stay off hot stuff for a few hours it helps with healing. drink cold stuff it helps with decreasing bleeding...ice creams a good idea
keep well

Ice. Unless you bit through it, or removed a large chunk of skin, it should stop bleeding if you apply ice.
