boyfriend got drunk and a bunch of friends 'branded" themselves with the letter W for thier school, the skin is peeled in the W area, and is red around it, when it first happened (6 days ago) i cleaned it for him and had him cover is and now its scabbing, but should I put bacitracin/ or anything on it? cover it? Please help, he is refusing the doctors because he knows how stupid it was!

Try a tripple antibiotic cream. It should help any infection.

Does he honestly think that his doctor has not seen this type of behavior (and WORSE behavior) from patients before? I'd go to the doctor. If it's a third-degree burn it could cause serious skin damage and the skin could be infected under the scab--despite your efforts to keep it clean and bandaged.
But in the meantime, yes, Bacitracin or Neosporin. He should probably take some advil too.

Yes, apply the ointment or see if they have a burn gel in the drug store. It should heal just fine.

aloe vera even at this late date can help eliminate scaring. this is the guy you want? what else would he do under peer pressure???
