The first possiblity is allergies. My Siberian is 7 1/2 years old, and developed allergies just in the past year or two. Doctor said it could be an new plant in a neighbors yard that the pollen is affecting her. She chews at the hair under her tummy and it causes her skin to become very red. The doctor gave us something to calm down the itching and it worked - we are gearing up for another session of the medicine if it comes back this spring.

There are many other things it could be - but cross that bridge if you come to it. Simply get him to the vet and describe his behavior to the vet. Be ready to answer questions about eating habits, if he is drinking more water than usual, and other behavior issues like playing, sleeping, and if there are any stool changes.

Good luck and don't worry too much before you see the vet.

food allergies r the biggest common form of this problem put the dog on a no corn no soy no byproducts food and see what happens
the corn and etc is the common thing to cause allergies.
what is in the grocery store brands of food would surprise u. it is no wonder dogs have health issues.
canidae, solid gold, innova, ca;ifornia natural, dick van pattens formula are some really good all natural dog foods.
the food u buy at the vet is over rated and expensive crap food also.
