Those are the extremists. Christian extremists did that. Most Christians are very loving people. Some aren't. A group is always judged by their worst, not their best. This is true for Muslims too.

Im a Muslim and I dont think a man is worth killing over for a bunch of cartoons.
Why? because first of all, killing is reserved for people who have done excessive evils on this planet.
Second, the man who drew the cartoon didnt know anything about Islam or the Prophet, i.e. he was an ignorant man who didnt know what he was saying, why should I take him seriously?
If this was done by a muslim man who lives in a muslim country, I would probably want him to have a serious whopping as punishment. But thats because he knows better and deserves whats coming at him.

you're generalising. A minority of Muslims stated as for the catoonist to be killed. The overwhelming majority, it form of feels to me, who on a similar time as very indignant did no longer choose for the guy killed. individually i've got self belief in freedom of speech and expression - despite if it offends, as long because it relatively is in the regulation. basically simply by fact some thing offends would not advise we ban it - if that replaced into to be the case, properly, wow, the place to start......we would have an relatively long checklist. Edit: And the cartoons weren't of Allah, they have been of Muhammad. Allah = God.

He didn't draw God, he drew the holy prophet (pbuh). I can understand the disgust and anger of Muslims at this insult to the religion, but those who want to kill him are a bit overboard, in my opinion. (Most don't think he should be killed, though most probably wouldn't be too sad if he were.)
You are absolutely right that both Islam and Christianity preach love and peace, and many followers of both religions have forgotten that. Thank you.

Should have left the main question on its own.
The Islamic answer is that you're not allowed to depict the prophet and yes they mean everyone not just muslims.
They seem to hate democracy and understand it as well as creationists understand evolution - demanding an apology for the danish government? Why? What did they have to do with it.
I'm saddened by the fact that they weren't republished here in the UK and by the PC journalists who talked about the hurt and offense of the poor muslims as they caused riots and deaths over it.
What a savage, vile, primitive, barbaric faith.

No i wouldn't kill that man, but instead i will forgive him, because God said so in the Quran.

There are two ways of reading any holy book.
1. What it really says.
2. What you want/need it to say.
A lot of people would go for the second option, just to justify violence.

what! Religion taught love and peace, however no one on this earth has the right to insult any other religion and hurt other people's belief....when someone does that all the time without...thinking and the only purpose pf this is to hurt the beliefs of those people they have left with no other option but to do that....
May Allah bless us all...

That's what they do if you don't agree with them. Yeah, they preach peace but only in their own terms.
